What’s old is new again. While aging Boomers might be addicted to downloading tunes onto their iPods, their retro kids are gaga for records. Cohen has owned the store for 30 years and has a photographic memory of its inventory. “You come and ask me something, I go, ‘Bang! There it is,’” says the curmudgeonly tempered Cohen. Not only has the Recordland retailer got a knack for selling records, but he’s the handy fellow who made the eponymous wooden letters hanging on his building. “Driving into Inglewood, there’s no way you can miss this store.”
