AT CRESCENT POINT ENERGY Corp., a Calgary-based energy producer focused on light and medium oil and natural gas, it’s the little things that matter. Yes, the company pays its employees well, but it also offers them periodic perks – a Friday afternoon to relax and sip a beer or a cash bonus for an outstanding performance – that make working there just a little bit more fun. The payoff for the company has been just as rewarding. It has managed to build a loyal employee base and become one of the most successful – and enviable – companies in the country.

CRESCENT POINT has a “discretionary bonus” policy under which an employee can be rewarded with a bonus of up to $1,500 for excellent performance – and that’s over and above annual performance bonuses and grants of shares in the company.
