The Finalists: Alberta’s Best Workplaces 2012

Meet Alberta's best workplaces and find out what they're doing right

May 1, 2012

Have you heard? Alberta is expecting a labour shortage! No time like the present, then, to bone up on the latest and greatest ideas for building a better workplace. In this, our fifth annual Alberta’s Best Workplaces package, we profile the winners of and finalists in the competition’s 12 categories. They were selected for their progressive, thoughtful approaches to ensuring employee satisfaction by a panel of judges representing Alberta Venture and the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA). A record 85 qualified applications came in this year, and the judges were impressed with the commitment to corporate culture and human resource development shown by all.

The winners were announced at a gala on April 30 at the Matrix Hotel in Edmonton.

Alberta’s Best Workplaces is presented by the HRIA, Davies Park Executive Search Consultants and this magazine, and is sponsored by Alberta Blue Cross.
