Earlier this week, the Mt. Gox Bitcoin exchange went dark, meaning potentially devastating losses for shocked investors in the e-currency. Edmonton-based BitNational is hoping the news doesn’t dissuade potential Bitcoin investors from getting involved with the digital currency.
And it has good reason. BitNational is opening a Robocoin Kiosk at West Edmonton Mall on Thursday. The Edmonton Journal reports the kiosk will be connected to the global market and will allow clients to buy or sell Bitcoins at market value, plus a convenience fee.
With a physical, automated Bitcoin exchange, Edmonton will join the likes of Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Winnipeg. But is it too little too late?
Considering the latest news, are you still thinking of investing in Bitcoins?
