Alberta SouthWest wins big, Canexus Corporation has a new CEO, GASFRAC shakes up its board

GASFRAC Energy Services is announcing a shakeup of its board of directors. Pierre Jungels has resigned from the board due to a conflict of interest and is being replaced by Robert McBean. McBean has over 40 years of experience in the petroleum and natural gas industry.
- Canexus Corporation is introducing R. Douglas Wonnacott as its new president and CEO. Wonnacott has held several senior executive positions in his decades working in the chemical industry. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA in Marketing and International Business from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario.
- Alaris Royalty’s board of directors has appointed Bob Bertram to the board. Bertram is a corporate director and the retired executive VP of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, a position he held from 1990-2008. Bertram currently holds a number of positions, including chair of the strategic committee of Glass Lewis, LLC.
- Magnum Energy has a new president, following the resignation of president and CEO Richard Nemeth. He will remain in the role of CEO to assist the company in its transition to new president Bob Stinn. Stinn brings over three decades worth of experience and has been a part-time consultant for Magnum Energy in the past.
