Alberta’s Business Person of the Year Program
As President and CEO of Enbridge, Al Monaco has shown remarkable industry leadership through his strong commitment to responsible and sustainable energy infrastructure development. His influence continues as a true community leader. His involvement with the Alberta Cancer Foundation, specifically with the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the United Way, has done much more than raise money: The Ride has inspired others to become advocates for the event. Monaco also plays an integral role in the planning of the annual Hullelujah event in Calgary, raising funds for mental health services. For all these reasons, and many others,
Al Monaco is Alberta’s 20th Business Person of the Year.
For 19 years, Alberta Venture has recognized the great leaders who have shaped this province and influenced change in our communities. On November 30, we will bring them together in one room as we celebrate Al Monaco as the 20th Business Person of the Year award winner. This is a must-attend event unlike anything we’ve ever produced.
