Robert Steven moves on from Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, Stantec named Top Employer, Long Run adds board members

The City of Grande Prairie has added long-time Art Gallery of Grande Prairie executive director Robert Steven to its staff. Steven left his post at the art gallery to take on the role of Culture and Heritage Manager for the city. The Art Gallery of Grande Prairie is currently searching for a new executive director.

Long Run Exploration is adding to its board of directors, following the resignation of Paul Dimitriadis. The company announced that Steve Yuzpe will join the board in his place. He’s the president and CEO of Sprott Resource, a significant investor in Long Run.

GASFRAC Energy Services is announcing executive appointments for Jason Munro and Doug McMillan. Munro is the company’s new president, while McMillan was named senior vice president of operations.

Gibson Energy has appointed Mary Ellen Peters to its board of directors. Peters has over three decades worth of experience working with Marathon Petroleum in the midstream and downstream sectors, holding senior executive roles.

Edmonton-based Stantec is one of the best places to work in Alberta, according to the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.

The designation is meant to recognize the employers “that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.” Stantec has almost 1,700 employees in Edmonton and has made the list for three straight years.
