The winner in the Best Overall, More than 750 Employees category, All Weather has implemented safe weight-handling guidelines. It has weighed all the company’s products and determined acceptable load limits for individual people.

Northern Mat & Bridge, Grande Prairie
Also a finalist in Benefits, Perks and Incentives, Northern Mat shuts down its entire operation for three days each year to focus on safety and wellness training. Everyone from the newest employee to the CEO must participate.

Pronghorn Controls, Calgary
CEO Yves Tremblay frequently travels to work sites to meet with workers and discuss health and safety matters, leading to numerous changes to safe work practices, procedures and policies.

    WCB is the best for workplace health and safety? coming from a long term employee, I think a closer look needs to be made and discussions with the actual employees should be what determines this rating.
