City of Leduc
Each and every employee with the City of Leduc took part in training last year. This includes management training at the University of Alberta, customer service training for staff at the Leduc Recreation Centre and a Respect in the Workplace session that has been taken by 80 per cent of employees.

Quercus Solutions, Edmonton
Beginning with their on-boarding program and continuing through Quarterly Development Days, lunch ’n’ learns and Coaching Training Days, Quercus provides training that develops the whole person.

Vermilion Energy, Calgary
The winner of the Best Overall, 100-750 Employees category, Vermilion conducts quarterly “talent management” meetings with key employees to ensure they are getting the right mix of on-the-job experience, coaching and specific training.
