TransGlobe Energy adds to board, Bayshore Petroleum CFO resigns, Marketing Rx earns “All Star” status

TransGlobe Energy Corporation is adding some experience to its board of directors. The company has hired Susan MacKenzie, who has been an independent consultant since 2010 after working at Oilsands Quest, Petro-Canada and Amoco Canada. MacKenzie has previously served on several public, private and charitable boards.

  • Bayshore Petroleum is searching for a new CFO following the resignation of Anna Lentz. Bayshore is now seeking a new CFO, with company president and CEO Peter Y. Ho acting as the interim CFO during that time.
  • Hemmera is announcing the addition of Darrell Desjardins to its Calgary team as regional vice president. Desjardins spent several years as the director of environment with Port Metro Vancouver and will lead all aspects of Hemmera’s Alberta operations in his new role. Hemmera is a boutique environmental consultancy firm that has been active in Canada and around the world since 1994.
  • Cortex Business Solutions has appointed Scott Lamacraft to its board of directors. Lamacraft has been the CEO of Cormark Securities since 2001 and has worked in the investment business since 1993.
  • QE2 Acquisition Corp. is announcing the appointment of Doug Bachman to its board of directors. Bachman oversaw the purchase of three companies over the past 12 months with Enterprise Group and brings over 25 years of corporate finance and management to the fold.

Marketing Rx Founder/CEO Kimberly Allison

Social media marketing firm Marketing Rx has been recognized as one of Constant Contact’s 2013 All Stars.

The company says it’s thrilled to be on the list for “achieving strong marketing results and connecting with our customers.” Each year, Constant Contact hands out its All Star Award to a “select group of businesses and nonprofits that are successfully leveraging online marketing tools to engage their customer base.”

Marketing Rx is based in Edmonton and provides all-inclusive social media management for businesses.
