Troymet Exploration has appointed Joseph Meagher its new CFO. Meagher is a director at Triumvirate Consulting and provides accounting, financial reporting and management services to companies in a variety of industries. Meagher holds a Chartered Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.

  • The board of Mkango Resources has a new chairman. The company has appointed Derek Linfield, who joined the team in January of this year as a non-executive director. He has practiced as a Canadian lawyer in London, England, for 18 years with a focus on cross-border financing and M&A in the mining and oil & gas sectors.
  • Perry Lee has been appointed the vice president of quality assurance for Maple Leaf Green World. Lee is a chemical and biological engineer from the University of British Columbia, where he is currently a Ph. D. candidate. The company says Lee’s expertise will help it meet the stringent requirements of Health Canada for producing medical marijuana.
  • Davis LLP is adding a prominent securities lawyer to its staff. Jarrod Isfeld is joining the Calgary firm as a partner. The firm calls Isfeld one of the most prominent securities lawyers in southern Alberta. Davis LLP has over 250 lawyers across Canada.
  • Iona Energy is welcoming Philip Oldham as interim CEO. Oldham brings with him broad business and commercial experience in the North Sea. As part of an organizational shift, David Sherrard has also been named the VP of developments and Nick Ritchie is now the VP of asset management.

Booster Juice president and CEO Dale Wishewan has been inducted into the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Global Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Shanghai, China.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame has been around for over 25 years and recognizes exceptional entrepreneurial achievements.

Wishewan opened the first Booster Juice in Sherwood Park back in 1999, and has since grown his brand to 300 locations worldwide.
