Randy Mowat named Marketer of the Year, ATCO adds Werth to its board, Calgary Homeless Foundation names new CEO

ATCO is strengthening its board of directors with the appointment of Susan R. Werth. Werth is the former senior VP and CAO of ATCO, Canadian Utilities Limited and CU Inc. Werth worked for the ATCO Group of Companies for over three decades before retiring in June.
- Diana Krecsy is the new president and CEO of the Calgary Homeless Foundation. Krecsy was previously the CEO of the Calgary Drug Treatment Court Society and has more than 25 years of leadership experience.
- Serinus Energy has appointed a new chairman. Helmut J. Langanger will replace Dariusz Mioduski, who retired at the company’s AGM. Langanger is a petroleum engineer with 40 years of experience in the energy industry.
- Veresen Inc. has appointed Theresa Jang as senior vice president of finance, and CFO. Jang joined Veresen in 2006 as the company’s controller and has been promoted twice in that time. Jang was named interim CFO in January, before being formally offered the position.

Mowat received the award at the Association for Accounting Marketing’s recent summit in Austin, Texas. IPA’s publisher, Kelly Platt, says “Randy is performance-oriented, entrepreneurial and a visionary, and he helped take MNP to the next level.”
MNP was recognized in Bottom Line Magazine in April as the sixth-largest accounting and consulting firm in Canada, and the fastest growing national firm in the country.
