What a start to 2015.
We’re now two weeks into the #AVGetsFit challenge and things are really heating up. With 35 people now signed up for the challenge, the Alberta Venture community is now on pace to log over seven million steps by the end of the month! Wondering how the Alberta Venture Fitbit crew is holding up?
Betty Smith is pulling away at the top of the leaderboard with 291,654 steps to date, Allyson Kurian is next with 243,774, Ruth Kelly has 136,667 and Colton Ponto rounds out the top 15 with 120,890. Alberta Venture editor Mike Ganley currently sits in eighth place with 193,913 steps, which is important to note since anyone who beats him wins complimentary passes to to the Fast Growth 50 conference in Calgary on February 24. Darryl Moore, Lynda Mackey, Denise Kitagawa and Mandy Johnson are in line for those free passes with 15 days left in the challenge. Can Mike make up some ground?
Remember, this contest is also open to anyone who wants to sign up and doing so will earn you a free, one-year subscription to Alberta Venture magazine.
