Well, 31 days and 7,913,287 steps later, the #AVGetsFit challenge has come to a close.
Congratulations to Alberta Venture’s own Betty Smith, who crushed the rest of the field by completing 615,375 steps over the month of January. Betty got ahead early and never looked back, logging over 100,000 steps more than her closest competitor. Great job, Betty!
You’ll recall that there was a bit of a side contest going on this month as well, where those who finished ahead of Alberta Venture editor Mike Ganley earned themselves tickets to the upcoming Fast Growth 50 Conference in Calgary. Well, congratulations to Chris McLeod, Denise Kitagawa, Lynda Mackey, Mandy Johnson, Darryl Moore and Donna Hamilton (we’ll be in touch!).
That’s not all, folks! Thanks to the wonderful people at UWALK, we’ve got prizes for the top non-Venture finisher and two others picked at random. Chris McLeod, Tim Sloan and Wendy Simpson all win a UWALK water bottle and socks!
Thanks again to all those who participated, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and enjoy your free one-year subscription to Alberta Venture!
