If you’re looking for love in Alberta, it seems the QE II is a good place to start.
Amazon.ca has ranked Canada’s 20 most romantic cities based on a variety of sales data from 2014. Victoria, B.C., took top spot but Calgary managed to shoot up from 15th to fifth overall in the sixth annual rankings. Red Deer landed in sixth spot followed by Edmonton in 10th and Lethbridge in 13th.
The rankings are based on purchases of romance novels & relationship books, romantic comedies and music. This year’s rankings also included purchases from the store’s jewelry and sexual wellness categories.
Agree? Disagree? Surprised to see Red Deer so high on the list? Let us know by tweeting @AlbertaVenture.
