Avoid fake news: a handy guide to news sources

Partisan bias now takes priority over good information. Conspiracy theorists with websites have the journalistic authority of the most seasoned news anchor – think of disgraced University of Lethbridge professor Anthony Hall, editor of the American Herald Tribune website, claiming the status of Walter Cronkite. At times like this, it can help to have a handy guide for vetting your news sources. (Memo to a lot of people: Facebook and Twitter are not plotted; they are not sources.)
